Friday Fitness- The Last Two Weeks

Happy Friday Everyone! I don’t know how weeks can go so fast and slow at the same time, but this one did. And I’m approaching the final two weeks of classes before I get to go out to a school and student teach, this means I’m almost done all the homework assignments. I’m so close I can taste it!

It’s been another difficult week fitness wise. Between work, school, homework, I haven’t worked out all week and man I feel it! My legs feel stiff from sitting all day with no activity to break up the day. So I’ll make sure to get in a couple runs this weekend and hope for a better week next week. Living in a town with a gym sounds so nice right now.

I missed last week so I’ll recap the last two!

Week of October 7-14

It was Thanksgiving long weekend and I had a great activity filled time. I even managed to keep up my momentum throughout the week! Until Wednesday that is.

Saturday- Quick 2.32 miles with Rocky

Sunday- 5 mile run

Monday- Shovelling snow 1.5 hours & a 1 mile snowy day walk

Wednesday- 2.38 mile run

Thursday-Friday- Nothing

Week of October 14-21

This week was not a good one. I had a great awesome weekend but the week was all business.

Saturday- 7 mile run

Sunday- 2 mile hike- Bears Hump, 1 km walk around Linnet Lake

Monday- Thursday- Nothing

As I’ve had to learn this semester, sometimes you have to be okay with less.

But it’s a fresh start next week and I’ll be sure to get in some activity every day this weekend. But let’s be real- I hear 5am calling me. I’m ignoring the call but the arguments for morning workouts keep getting stronger and stronger.
